Philip C. Kolin, Professor of English at the University of Southern Mississippi, has published three other books of poetry, including Deep Wonder (Grey Owl Press, 2000) which won an award from the Catholic Press Association, and has co-edited (with Susan Swartwout) Hurricane Blues: Poems about Katrina and Rita. He is the founding editor of Vineyards: A Journal of Christian Poetry and has also published more than 30 scholarly books on Shakespeare, Tennessee Williams, and other playwrights.
Jianqing Zheng is Professor of English at Mississippi Valley State Universeity and the recipient of grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Mississippi Arts Commission. He is the editor for Valley Voices and the author of Landscape of the Mind, a chapbook that won the Slapering Hol Press Poetry Competition. His work has appeared in Mississippi Review, Poet Lore, Hanging Loose, among other publications.
